Ravenstahl, Onorato push for full city-county merger

Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato vowed today to push for a voter referendum on a full-blown city-county government merger by 2009.
"We can no longer afford the status quo," Ravenstahl said. "We must change if we are to grow again."
